Through my jobs reviewing CDs for this zine, my campus radio station and newspaper, I have heard a
lot of crap. Most of the crap, however, I am able to listen to completely. Goodnight Star has the
dubious honor of being one of only a few discs that I am completely unable to listen to in its
entirety. Goodnight Star play an 80s synthy style of music with vocals that sound very much like
Depeche Mode. What's wrong with that, you ask? I'm still trying to figure it all out. Somehow the
music annoys me greatly and it hurts my ears to listen to. Couple that with songs called "Creator"
and "He's My God" and you know the type of lyrical content that encompasses this CD. I only wish I
had been sent this cd in an actual jewel case so I would have at least some chance of selling it.
